Months of regular and intensive football coaching practices paid off as the students of both Undri and Life Republic Anisha Global Schools displayed their skills in three friendly matches held at the school grounds in Marunji School authorities, including the Managing Partner Dr. Manoj Singh, joined the teachers, school staff, guests and other students in cheering for their teams.
In the girls match, coach Laban’s team beat coach Seyie’s team by 3X0. In the junior boys category, coach Santu’s team beat coach Kele’s team in penalty shootouts (5X3) as the match ended in a draw (0X0). And the thrilling senior boys match between coach Jhantu’s team and coach Diego’s team ended with a convincing 3X0 victory by coach Jhantu’s team..
Regardless of the final scores, all players and cheerleaders did great! The matches showed that when we work hard as a team, the results will come. No sooner the event was over, students already started asking when the next matches will happen.
Well, we look forward for organising many more such events in a near future!
